Venetian blinds use horizontal slats that tilt to change light and privacy. Our range includes Urban Wood, Basswood and aluminium options. The material, slat width and way you operate the blind all influence the finished look and everyday use.
Urban Wood offers a wood-look finish, with 50 mm and 63 mm slats listed in our range. Basswood options have 50 mm slats and a natural timber character. Aluminium Venetians use narrower 25 mm slats for a finer-lined appearance.
Use samples to compare colour and finish beside your walls, cabinetry and flooring. If you are choosing for a kitchen, bathroom or another humid area, discuss the location and cleaning requirements before deciding on the material.
Wider slats create a different rhythm across the window from narrower aluminium slats. Look at them both tilted and open. Consider the view you want, the depth available and whether the slats can turn freely without touching handles or glazing.
Many people adjust the tilt regularly and raise the whole blind less often. Tell Beau how you use the window so the control location and raised stack can be considered. Ask for an operation demonstration and discuss suitable control placement if children use the room.
The tilt angle affects privacy, and light can still pass around edges and between components. If a very dark bedroom is your priority, compare other options as well. Ask how to clean the selected finish and keep the slats accessible without moving heavy furniture.
Your quote should identify the material, slat size, colour, controls and fitting. Explore our Venetian range or arrange a free in-home quote across the Central Coast, Sydney’s Upper North Shore, Newcastle and surrounding suburbs.
